NICU Nurse Manager - Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit

Position Overview

As the NICU Nurse Manager, you'll lead a passionate team of healthcare professionals in delivering exceptional care to newborns requiring intensive medical attention. This role combines clinical expertise with leadership skills to ensure optimal patient outcomes and departmental excellence.

Core Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Director to align department initiatives with facility's mission and strategic goals
  • Lead performance improvement initiatives to enhance quality metrics and patient care outcomes
  • Oversee clinical operations and ensure evidence-based nursing practices
  • Provide mentorship and clinical support to nursing staff
  • Manage departmental resources, scheduling, and staff development
  • Coordinate interdisciplinary care within Women's Services Units

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • Current Texas RN license or Multi-State Compact License (Texas license required within 60 days)
  • 2+ years recent NICU leadership experience as Manager or Charge Nurse
  • Current AHA BLS Certification
  • Strong clinical and operational leadership capabilities
