Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing and updating GIS databases to ensure accuracy and data integrity.
- Enter and update geographical and attribute data within GIS systems.
- Create basic maps and visual representations using GIS tools.
- Support GIS Analysts and other team members in larger GIS projects.
- Participate in training programs to enhance proficiency with GIS software and tools.
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Maintain organized documentation of GIS data and workflows.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Basic understanding of GIS concepts, practices, and technologies.
- Familiarity with GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS, or similar platforms).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain data accuracy.
- Ability to work collaboratively and follow instructions.
- Eagerness to learn and develop professionally within the GIS field.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
